Underwood Ammo Xtreme Defender

They can write about it all they want. There are obviously ways to test what they claim.

Would like to see a guntuber run through the list and give honest feedback.

These two statements contradict each other :loco:

A gun tuber giving honest feedback about the umbrella companies paying them probably isn’t so honest, and definitely isn’t a quality test of performance

I don't think it does at all. You have to poke around but they are there. You can generally tell when it's sponsored or very biased.

Marketing hype! You can pretty much advertise what they want on that. If you challenge them on it they will say the test was performed on some known low effect round. So really they would be correct on that. A lighter, higher velocity round would create a larger wound cavity over a slower, non expanding round. If they put it up head to head with other high performing SD rounds I don't believe it would be all that. It certainly sounds good and for some people that's all they need to hear to be convinced, marketing affect achieved!

Just wondering why no agencies adopt these bullets yet? If they achieve better results with lower recoil and no lead ( environmentally friendly) you’d think big agencies especially federal would eat this up? Yet most agencies stick with federal and hornady ammo?
