I've had the no-vent 4" 2206 for about a decade, but have only enjoyed it suppressed for the last few years. That's where it really shines.

By the way: A while back, mine took a vacation back to the S&W factory. The rear sight screw sheared off during firing. The rear sight hit my glasses, hard. My shooting glasses have a deep scratch to prove it. Always wear eye protection! If yours has a rear sight screw, don't overtighten and use some red locktight on it. The factory replaced the screw with a rivet. Don't like it as much (slightly less attractive than the screw), but it's probably safer.
