The parking lot is a good place to have your car broken into, while you and the 'security' cops are inside.

Don't think I said anything to the contrary, so what your point? LOL
I need to be more frugal and that’s a damn factActually, your post did belittle the OP (as a "spoiled American") for sharing his disgruntlement about his experience. You told him what he should do as far as his options as an American. I pointed out he is exercising another of his options as an American, that of Free Speech.
So dat what my point be.
As for "spoiled Americans"...umm, no. I've lived in several other countries around the world and -compared to the majority of other nationalities- most Americans are far from being "spoiled" when it comes to money. If anything, Americans are more likely to keep their mouths shut instead of speaking up if they think they've been overcharged, didn't get a discount to which they're entitled, etc. Contrary to what people who brag about having checkbooks dedicated to specific stores may claim, frugality is not a vice and it's not shameful. It's actually admired in most other countries and used to be in this country.
Just saying.
You only pay if you waste the shop's time by mis-remembering your criminal convictions (a common failing among the indigenous population in Bibb County).
Purple drank?Told one in line the other day I would pay for his drink if he would shut the **** up and move on.He was charged 1.29 for what was an 89 cent drink and got all ****in stupid about it.He wasnt a millionaire
How come no one has said anything about the nice man in the suit at AO that says God Bless you when you are leaving the store? He for sure used to work at Chic-Fi-La with the God Bless you’s. I just need to hear him say “my pleasure” to confirm this.

See this is typical of the threads I've read since I got here in 13. I don't see why anyone here would go there a second time. The only reason I went in there back around 15 was because I happened to be in the area and saw their sign and had time to kill. I WILL give them this; They had more gums on hand than probably 2 or 3 middle GA shops combined. Bit that was the only thing they had going for them. I had to walk through their roped off thing to get inside. Had more than one person following me asking to help me the entire time I was there. They were higher on used guns than new ones. Same on accessories mags and ammo. Nothing there I can't do better on somewhere else.Thats only part of the crap AO pulls .
And the OP didn't mention he "can't afford that 3% extra". Trying to poor-shame someone because he considers a user's fee unethical does not invalidate his gripe. His gripe is valid, invalid or a wash regardless of how much money he has, whether a purchase was an impulse buy or one planned months in advance.
Being frugal/conscientious about money does not = 'some poor schmuck living hand to mouth'. I recently saw a local resident multi-millionaire wait at the Piggly Wiggly register for 5 minutes because the cashier forgot to scan a coupon for $3 off a bag of dogfood and had to call the manager over to fix it. He was polite and didn't throw a tantrum; but he was firm he wanted his three bucks.
I can appreciate that.
Bragging you buy so many guns at a particular store that you keep a separate checkbook just for that store doesn't impress anyone.
