Unwrapping a lee enfield no4 from 1950s

Well, that's what I did. Unwrapped, shot it, then a few years on traded it for a Polytech AK. I've seen the $68 (Rose's Dept Stores) Enfields sell for more than $2,000 each at auction WHEN the mummy wrap is still on them.
 
I did that back in 1990. Big mistake. Should have left the wrap on.
I never understood owning a firearm that I never shoot.

There are some I don't shoot alot but I still shoot them.

Martini Henry Kynoch 577/450 id about $5 a round when you can find it. The adaptor for 45 Long Colt shhots but not accurate.

M1941 Johnson gets run once a year like my G43 and K43 and the SVT 40. Just don't want them to break.
