Well Ukraine went from being a leftist ****hole with hedonistic women and society in general practicing misandry to suddenly conservative and pro-gun overnight. I'm sure there's no exterior factor that played into that sudden change.

Beyond that I have no solutions. I'm sorry. I don't mean to come and be an negative nancy or a doomer but the reality is that our "safe society" has bred this type of thinking across the population. There's honestly no way to fix it. What is happening is inevitable.

The problem with the dip****s is they want pictures of your SBR before you are approved.

Which means you have already committed a felony, by admission on paper, and admitted by you...signed by you (in their eyes, not the eyes of the law). This isn't just a registry it's entrapment as well.

Is that new? Ive never had to take a pic of the firearm but its been years since i form 1 anything

What about the brace on a shockwave....its not a rifle, and not a shotgun and their language clearly mentions pistols and rifles..

Just finished reading it, and Shockwaves are OK but a Shockwave with a brace won't be.

Still reading through it but it is looking like they have made the pistol buffer tubes that have been around forever illegal also.

Buffer tubes are OK because they are required for the operation of the firearm.

If you remove the brace from the AR pistol you would be “legal” again. Correct?

“This rule is effective the date it is published in the Federal Register. Any weapons with “stabilizing braces” or similar attachments that constitute rifles under the NFA must be registered no later than 120 days after date of publication in the Federal Register; or the short barrel removed and a 16-inch or longer rifle barrel attached to the firearm; or permanently remove and dispose of, or alter, the “stabilizing brace” such that it cannot be reattached; or the firearm is turned in to your local ATF office. Or the firearm is destroyed.”

You have to modify the gun or the brace so it can't be used. Probably the intention here is that you destroy the brace.

I suppose if you have a registered SBR that would use that brace it would be OK too. That would work for braces that are pretty generic, like AR ones and you have an SBR lower.

Some braces for specific guns wouldn't work that way though. I doubt they would be OK with you keeping an AK brace even if you had an SBR'd AR lower.

Voting will not fix this problem. The ATF is simply a symptom of the entrenched problems in a modern society. The fact is 70% of the American population if not more do not believe in many of the values in the constitution nor bill of rights and many of them would gladly trade freedom for security. You need not look further than every other western nation outside of the United States if you need proof of what I'm saying. This is what was inevitable with the passing of the 19th amendment.

Even "republican women" are leaned towards being anti-gun unless peer pressured by males in some kind of social group or if they stand to benefit directly from taking a pro-gun stance. If you leave women to their own devices they would universally oppose guns irrelevant of where they lean politically. It's in their nature. So then they pass these values onto their offsprings and with single mother households on an alarming rise; the rest is obvious. This is what happens when there are no exterior or existential threats to a population. They start thinking warriors and the tools for warriors are barbaric and unnecessary.
