NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. -- Three people are in the hospital following an attempted burglary at Guns and Ammo Gunsmith on Edgefield road in North Augusta.

Investigators say a vehicle crashed into the store to break-in around 3:30 this morning. The business owner opened fire hitting all 3 of the suspects.

One suspect was left at the scene. The other two ran away to the Waffle House on Martintown Road near I-20. Police were called to the both scenes and the suspects

were taken to the hospital. We're told the coroner has been called to the hospital in reference to this victim, but he cannot confirm anything for us at this time.
