Has there ever been info released on what led them to that guy?
I’m not too surprised one guy did this, especially since he was a prior customer who used the range previously and knew the layout and closing time. For those who have never been there, the place is tiny. Everyone would be in a very small area—literally the size of a kitchen. I doubt Tommy’s wife and grandson were armed. So if he took out Tommy, then that’s it.
Just speculating, but my bet is he went in near closing time and used the range until he knew all customers were gone and closing was about to occur—then did the murder. Terribly sad, sick and shocking that someone did this for a few used guns. This guy couldn’t have been dealing with a full deck.

Yes. Young man is in prison at the moment, I think he’s 24-25yrs. History of mental illness. Extremely unfortunate turn of events.

In Macongo a murder suspect will be out on bond for at least 18 months before they come to trial. In that time they usually catch at least another assault or murder charge.
