Here’s something a little different for my Springfield collection....she’s a souvenir silver spoon from Springfield Armory circa 1890’s. Handle is a very detailed trapdoor rifle.....very cool

My dad picked up a letter opener shaped like an M1 Garand with the bayonet attached in the early 1940s before he joined the Army and before he ever saw an M1 Garand in person. He owned a couple of M1 Garands after the war through the 1990s.
