Used Oil Filters... Know of a place that takes them for recycling in NW Georgia?

Try one of the oil change places or a dealership. Most have a compactor that will compress and squeeze the oil out before recycling.

Do the environmentally right thing and toss them in the fire to burn the oil out before throwing them in the trash.

O'reillys used to gave a 55 gal drum beside the recycled oil tank to put them in. It that's gone I'll be putting them in the trash.

They won't take them anymore.

Stick in filter box wrapped in paper towels or rags
Double bag in plastic grocery sac
In trash can it goes

I normally leave them on my oil pan till the next oil change. Not because I'm environmentally friendly. It because l forget to pick them up afterwards
