What is the consensus opinion on using 4064?
I have some Accurate 4064 (which i think is short cut) and some IMR 4064.
Want to load both 5.56 and .308.

Has anyone had good experiences using either of these?
Usually I use BLC-8 or IMR 4598 for .308...

Typically use 152gr and 55-62gr bullet weights respectively.

I just got a couple of pounds of it to try out in 308 with 175gr HPBT bullets. Supposedly that's the powder of the mil spec M118 round.

imr 4064 is a good powder it will do fine with 150 gr bullets , I load it in 223 220 swift and 308win, it really shines in the swift but is a good all around powder

I originally bought this powder to load for the 7.5x55 swiss; Which incidentally uses the same .30 cal bullet as the .308\30.06.
Lots of cheap surplus projectiles to be had (at one time)....
