its still a good parts bike. someone out there needs those panels.
its just too bad its not really worth it to sell parts on ebay

I was looking at the pics of that V45 one last time and noticed something a bit weird. I'm pretty sure my V65 didn't have a valve like this built into the left side. I've had several bikes over the years, older and newer. Never seen this before. Custom fuel cutoff??

Nope, factory Petcock valve for switching to reserve. Its a gravity fed system, no fuel pump (in the tank anyway, the early bikes used an in line fuel pump). The first model Hurricanes had the same deal I believe.. or maybe it was the interceptors.. one or the other.. been a while since I tinkered on anything from the 80s

Doesn't look like any fuel petcock valve I've ever seen. Looks like a common gate value.

Its actually a V45 Interceptor.

For what it's worth, the Sabre was a standard bike with the same powerplant.
