V45 Honda Sabre 1983

Its actually a V45 Interceptor.

For what it's worth, the Sabre was a standard bike with the same powerplant.

Could be but I had a V65 Sabre with the fairing on it. Still a Sabre.

It also had lowers. The lowers had vents that could be adjusted to direct air toward your legs. This helped to keep your pants from catching on fire.

I had a V65 that was outfitted with a small cafe fairing like this one. The only thing I didn't like about it was the shaft drive.

This is the bike in your original post, a V45 Interceptor. It's the more desirable model before they were cut back to 700cc. It looks like the fairing has been repainted.

Yep, definitely an Interceptor. The low chin fairing is a dead giveaway. One of my buddies had a V45 Sabre from that era...damned smooth running bike.
