Im in the market for a varmint/target scope. Itll be shared between 22lr, 22 hornet, and a 22-250.
Any suggestions on a reticle? I dont care for trees or horus types but Im wondering if a fine crosshair/dot or maybe a bdc/mil dot style scope would be best. I use fixed power scopes on everything else I shoot, mostly fixed 4’s and 6’s, so a variable will be a depature.

Ive looked at the clearidge scopes ans they seem to be a good deal but i cant find anything recent posted about them. Any suggestions?

Thanks

I would look at a sightron STAC, vortex Diamond back tactical, vortex HS, or HST. All your price range, with a better track record / name. They have multiple reticle styles.

There’s also the new Arken EPL4. I sound like a such a fanboy with my recent posts. But they are cheap, have a lot of features, and have reliable turrets.
