Venison Burgers Advice

I've still got some ground from last year. I know to make the venison into burgers, you need to add fat. I have tried a coupla mixtures to make the venison hold together. Ground pork... not lean ground beef. Still have not gotten the mix just right. They stuck together, but didn't have the flavor I enjoyed. Anyone out there got some advice on the mixture?

I USUALLY ADD 1/4 POUND BACON TO 1 POUND DEER BURGER !

Add a packet of Lipton's Dry Onion Soup, with the mix also.

I just add beef tallow....works like a charm.

See what you might need to do is a low heat...

I use a portion of BBQ sauce mixed directly into the meat and pan sear the burger pattys on a med to med/low heat.

No extra fat added ever and it's wonderful and NOT dry

I like to make Salisbury steaks by adding Liption onion/mushroom mix to GV and grilling them.
You could add dry taco flavoring, spread cheese, and salsa for Venison taco burgers.
