Excellent shooters....it's nice to shoot '54r on a brand new weapon. You'll need a decent scope that will hold up to the recoil. Some parts are becoming difficult to find. I changed the stock on mine to get a longer LOP, and i changed out the scope and mount to accommodate a left-handed shooter

I like the stocks on those. If i didnt already have that set on a psl i would have used that setup on my vepr.

I have the 23" and just picked up one with the 16" barrel. I have a feeling the 16" will be quite the flame thrower.

The 23" will put 'em on paper easy-peasy at 600 yards and 8x scope. With a three-baffle brake it's pleasant to shoot, too.
