It is nice to see that someone else's experience with Vepr mirrors mine. I remember folks laughing on ODT when I said I could repeatedly hit a 2' metal plate at 300 yard with the Vepr. Here both rifles were tested at 100, 300 and 500 yards, with 18" silhouette. With identical accuracy results.

You knew it was going to happen. The old outdated inaccurate primitive AK platform gets no love here on the trader.

couldn't watch the video at work but are they both 5.56? or was the ak good ol 7.62? I've always liked the vepers, still really want to try one out at some point

Vepr is 7.62x39, DD is 5.56

I appreciate AKs, but the VEPR isn't the usual AK. It has the heavier RPK receiver, with a corresponding increase in weight. How much heavier than the DD is that VEPR?
