If anyone is interested in supporting a Valdosta veteran without family , my dad is officiating his funeral Friday at Riverview Cemetery 2pm arrangements by Music Funeral Home .

Richard Fatzinger 1952-2019. Air Force veteran. Served in Vietnam 1971-1972. Suffered from PTSD. This veteran lived alone in Valdosta with the help of a friend that kept him fed and clothed. This veteran received custodial from the Stat of Georgia and from the Veteran’s Administration. The friend and custodians were instrumental in bringing happiness to him in his last days.
This veteran’s funeral is being handled by Music Funeral Home and will be at Riverview Cemetery in Valdosta at 2:00 P. M. On Friday, October 18. There will be no family in attendance. Attending will be the Staff of Colquitt Regional Hospice and his friend and his custodians. If you wish to honor this veteran, please attend his service.
