I believe we had one just like that at home when I was a teen around 1977. I hope whomever got it doesn't junk it for the transformer, would be nice to see this used as a prop for the local film industry.

Not an Amana like that. Too valuable. Whoever got it got a great deal. Glass by itself usually sells for $50, let alone the unit. Hipsters love these things.
