So you could compete in Garand AND vintage? I'm thinking Swiss K31 for vintage.

Yes, you can shoot either, you still have to pull targets and score so shooting two rifles in a match would be very difficult. The Swiss bolt guns are accurate and popular! There are separate categories for rifle types, M1, 03s, axis and allies bolt. I think the summer match was won by an Eddystone.
