Vortec 6.0 lean condition/o2 fault/misfires SOLVED!!!

Been having this fault for a while where my engine would try to stall out after running for about 5 minutes when I came to a stop. Would only do it until the ECM stopped trying to use closed loop.

Was getting codes for o2 sensors, lean bank 2, misfires.

I checked plugs, wires, coil packs. Replaced the evap system and o2 sensors.

Something told me to check the ECT sensor, that I thought I replaced when I did the 6.0 swap.

25° difference between ambient temp and sensor temp. Replaced with a BWD sensor and problem is solved.

Everything makes sense; but that was a brain scratcher for a while.

What did you swap it in to?

2005 Silverado 1500, it had a 4.8l with a 4l60e. I put a 6.0l with 4l80e.

Bought HPtuner for the program, deleted to viscous fan and went with dual electric. That was kind of a PITA, had to wire the ECM.

Truck is a beast for towing and power.
