I have a VZ58 SBR 6” barrel and was wondering if I put a supressor on it will it beat the internals too hard because of all the gas and added back pressure. I is a Silencerco Saker ASR and I emailed Silencerco and they said there is no barrel min length so that’s covered, thanks in advance. Here’s the weapon in question.

Unless that is a brace it would be a short barrel rifle, not a pistol. It would require a tax stamp and such.

Tough call? You are also probably reaching the minimum barrel length for that caliber. They don't specify the minimum barrel length for 762x39 on that one but you are going to be close. Here is what they have listed

MINIMUM BARREL LENGTH 556 7"
MINIMUM BARREL LENGTH 300BLK 7"
MINIMUM BARREL LENGTH 762 NATO 12"
MINIMUM BARREL LENGTH MAGNUM 20"

.

Yea I didn’t see it either. I emailed customer service and here is what they said about it:

Yea I still get mixed up because it started as a pistol. Thanks man, yea I was looking for that or any way I could adjust gas so it won’t be so violent.
