LoL, that’s just classic! Muleys aren’t nearly as smart as whitetails, but they are quiet. My grandpa used to tell me stories about growing up in the Rockies. He’d get on top of a boulder by a game trail, and wait for a mule deer to walk past. As it it came even with him, he’d tap it on the back of the head and pull back. Sometimes he’s keep one deer turning in circles for fifteen minutes! He was six or seven at the time, and when he turned ten, he was turned loose with his Winchester pump .22 to bring home meat for the family. He told me that old .22 has probably shot 100 deer before he left home. It sits in my collection now, honorably retired.
