Walmart ammo availability thread - Post what you see available & where!

I like the way he has a Bible verse at the bottom and calls others a loser.

Your feelings hurt?

I have zero problems with what he said. I bet a lot guys are the same way. I have no problems with a fair market system. Something's are every bit worth what someone else's is willing to pay. Just crappy things happen around here now. A lot of changes in the year I have been around the odt. Definitely not what it used to be.

Oakwood Wally World has .40 and .45 by Rem, Fed, and Win in 50 and 100 boxes. They had several of each. Had some Federal .45 HP's. Several types of .223 including Tul, Win, and BrassMax.

Hoarding or Flipping??? :confused2:

Well gee, I now live in Jasper and have not seen a box of .22 in almost a year, so yeah I bought 3 for myself. Went up to Ellijay for business and also got a 100 round box. Hoarding or flipping AH? You are the one who has admitted you have traveled out of state to attempt bulk ammo purchases, here is your post from July:

****I was denied Bulk 22LR at Walmart****
On a recent little excursion I stopped in a Walmart in a very rural South Western Illinois and thought I had stepped back in time.

There was 223, 9mm, 45ACP (and a metric ton of hunting ammo) and then I saw it...the illusive and precious little 22LR in bulk 550rnd packs! Of course, they had the prerequisite 3 box limit sign like all Walmarts, so I decided to fill up on 1650rnds of 22LR. As she fetched them out of the glass cabinet and brought them to the register I was salivating with pleasure and awaited eagerly with my Debit Card!

After scanning all three and a couple other small items from my buggy, she asked me for my FOID Card. I didn't understand what she said initially so I asked her to repeat the question. I need to see your FOID Card she said. FOID Card??? Shaking my head I said I have no idea what you're talking about ma'am. She then says I'm gonna guess you're not from around here! I say no I'm not as I'm just passing thru. She then informs me that to purchase ammunition in the state of Illinois, one must possess this FOID Card or have a Non-Resident Hunting License!!!

At this point she begins to apologize for NOT being able to sell me the ammo and starts to delete them from my purchase total.

And now you know the rest of the story.....

Local store had Federal .45 Auto 230 gr. FMJ 100 round boxes for $28.97 this morning. Three boxes out the door was $93 and change. I don't see anyone beating that price on .45 Auto.

Hell, 50 rounds of Tula was $15.
