Walmart Ammo Experience

I didn't realize it was as bad as it is. I was looking for some 22 for my boy to shoot. I read on here that ammo gets stocked early, so I stopped by the three Walmarts that I pass on my way to work. Three days in a row, zip for ammo. Hope this ends soon.

We have the same problem here in Ellijay at our Walmart. It was the same old bunch coming in with their wives and friends, they were allowed to buy 3 boxes of what ever. After the same old group bullied a guy standing near the front of the line one day, actually touching him. They had to limit to 1 box per person per day, and these guys still sneak back in and try to buy after making a purchase. I was there about a week before Christmas and a woman drove all the way from TN as she could not find any .22lr any where along the way. She got her box, it was for a rifle she and her husband had purchased their son for Christmas. I had bought my box for the day, Winchester 100 count, and offered it to her for what I paid. She handed me 10 bucks and would not accept change. I had plenty at home and it just seemed like the right thing to do when I found out how far she had driven.

That's funny. I got some CCI Mini Mags at the Walmart off Collins Hill on Monday for $7 box. The guy told me they got 60 boxes that morning. There were about 15 boxes left around 11. Coincidentally, that day there were two listings here for CCI mini mags for $15 each. One guy (in Lawrenceville) even went out of his way to make up some bs story about having bought some at a pawn shop with his wife and no longer needed them blah blah blah...lol. It amazes me that people will go through the trouble for a $21 profit. Truly, truly, pitiful.

i come across it every now and again when i go in

probably like once every other time

i have actually chosen to not buy .22lr instead getting some .25 and .32 (which i wanted more)

It's also amazing how much *****ing there is over rimfire ammo and $21 profit.

I saw that 9mm can of 1200 at the WalMart on Chastain Road, and I thought the same as you. Seems high for 9mm. Especially for a relatively "unknown" brand (was it turkish, I think?).

Do some research, because thats actually pretty good ammo, NATO ammo. Is it worth $.41 a round? Not for target practice but its not garbage.
