want to buy Mosin Nagant 91/30

take a bullet with you to check the crowns! I went to a shop that got a crate in and 4 or five the crown was gone. The bullet went up to the shoulder of the 7.62x54r, ended up with a nice bore and crown on a tula hex 1943 after looking through the whole crate. Check the bore and crown!

Those with the "crown gone" were probably counter bored during the refurb process. While I too, prefer a full crown these counter bored rifles can still be quite accurate.

the m91/30 are great gun and u can step in to any gun shop and find one. but if it ur frist time with mosin nagant i would buy the best the finish. i love my m91/30 bet u can bet if found finish i sell mine in a heart beat just saying

Be prepared to pay for a Finn...unless the owner does not know what he has, a run of the mill Finn 91/30 will run at least double what an excellent refurbed Russian 91/30 costs. If it's a M27, M28, M39 or similar variant you are looking at $300 to $500.
Finn Mosins are the ABSOLUTE highest quality when it comes to accuracy vs other Mosin Nagants.
