Wanting to get into “laid back” competition shooting

I let A3G follow me around and just do my thing. There's a few more like me that just go out to have fun. USPSA was today, 3 gun next Sunday. . I got like 57 out of 60....but i had fun..and learned a little about myself.

Anywhere local that offers a not to serious shooting league? Not trying to have anyone follow me with a timer while my fat ass runs around an obstacle course. Just looking for some laid back fun competition. Any recommendations? Thanks ODT.

Action Pistol match is this weekend at River Bend. 3 stages with 30 rounds each, if you don't miss. Lunch and door prizes are included in your match fee of only $20.00. Very friendly crowd of shooters, great place to meet new people and see old friends. Need to be there around 8:00, safety brief starts around 9:00. We are usually eating lunch by 13:00. I will be the guy in the boney hat, be sure to say hello.

Does anyone still run Bullseye or Pistol Silhouette matches anymore? Those are enjoyable, relatively low stress events that don't require any running around a course.
I used to enjoy the smallbore silhouette shoots at the old Riverbend.

River Bend still runs Bullseye matches. You can go to rbgc.org and look at the calendar to see when the matches are. I think Cherokee still has pistol silhouette matches. River Bend has highpower silhouette matches, they are listed on the calendar.

South rivers runs bullseye matches starting in March on each second Sunday normally. We start at 10 am. We are looking at offering intro.classes and a shortened match prior to the main 2700 each match. Bring whatever you want to shoot. 22s are the easiest pistol to learn with. Although the full match typically involves both a 22 and 45 you can shoot the entire match or any portion of it with the 22.
Feel free to contact me about the matches.

Riverbend will start in april and normally shoots on the 3rd sunday starting at 10
