I like my made in China stuff, the smell of communism makes me appreciate my freedom, and the smell of child labor warms my heart.
Some of the most traditional American made items are now made in China. Schrade cutlery (Old Timer, Uncle Henry) are made in China. It's ridiculous. Some classic American knives are still American made like Case, Kabar, most Buck knives are still made here, some Kershaw, some Gerber, etc...But most of them have a cheaper Chinese line as well, and yes, there is absolutely a difference in quality. The difference in a Chinese vs American Buck or Kershaw is like night and day.
Even Fender guitars has started a Chinese line. They have had Japan and Mexico factories for years, but now they have China made instruments too.
Contrary to what some want to believe, not all Chinese products are bad. Some are actually very good. Still, I do not wish to support those communists. China is not our ally. Far from it.

It's getting easier to find boots made in USA
I wear my Redwing Iron Rangers everyday 12 hours a day. They weren’t cheap but they are in my opinion an investment. I try to buy US made when I can but I don’t stress about it.
