Was offered something interesting in a trade. Am I legal to own and sell it?

-26 years old
-concealed weapons permit holder etc etc
-I have set up a gun trust for purchasing a can or two this year, have yet to do so


I was recently offered a roni sbr conversion kit for a full size glock. (http://www.armsunlimited.com/CAA-RONI-G2-9-Glock-Pistol-to-Carbine-Stock-p/roni-g2-9.htm)

Can I legally obtain this in a trade and sell it to recover my money?

As long as you don't own a pistol that will fit it then you're fine. If you do own a glock that will fit then its a no-go as it converts a Glock to an SBR.

Only glock I own is a g27 so I guess I'll go for it and try to sell it.

Yes you can legally obtain it. Just be carefull if you own a full size Glock that someone could see that as Constructive intent. but if you are just gonna flip it you should be alright.

If you have a glock to fit it you may meet the definition of constructive intent of creating a SBR.

If not then, its not a firearm and not regulated by the GCA
