A decorated war veteran on a Boy Scout hike with his 15-year-old son was arrested alongside a Texas country road after a police officer accused him of “rudely displaying” a firearm.

For the record, I think it's an atrocity. So much so, I fired off an e-mail to the Temple Tx. Police Department; 'police@ci.temple.tx.us'

To Whom It May Concern,

After watching, reviewing and debating the actions in this videoagainst Army Master Sgt. C.J. Grisham , I felt the overwhelming desire tocontact you all to make the statement that “I’m very upset as an Americancitizen to see constitutional rights so extremely violated!” Isincerely hope that all truths and the letter of the law is spelled out incourt. Law-abiding citizens of your city, state and of this nation arenot the enemy. Please train your officers to a higher degree ofprofessionalism so that when they encounter actions outside the norm but withinthe legal limits of our freedoms that they don’t over react causing violationssuch as this.
