amenI have a Lifestraw, Sawyer and Katadyn. All are good and for me it's nice to have redundancy. The Katadyn seems bomb proof.
I'm mad you posted this because now I really want it for my overlanding loadoutGuardian™ Gravity Water Purifier | MSR

bad thing about these is you have no idea when to change the filter.I'm mad you posted this because now I really want it for my overlanding loadout
Is there a recommended amount of uses? I figured it was as simple as keeping the filter clean which the site says should be fairly simplebad thing about these is you have no idea when to change the filter.
they dont last very long however.
from what ive seen on youboob its a short lived filter. Is there a recommended amount of uses? I figured it was as simple as keeping the filter clean which the site says should be fairly simple
Absolutely. My current backpacking filter does 4 liters but isn't anti viral so having that would be good for peace of mine. May just go for a sawyer since it's way smaller and lighter for backpacking but a 10L anti viral one would be great to have for surefrom what ive seen on youboob its a short lived filter.
dont get me wrong here i would love to get one for
me and the dogs. much more simple than the Hiker Pro
but is it as good? who knows. only telling what ive been watching.
no real world experience. but thats the word on the filters. great idea though.
