Water purification on the go

im infatuated with my new sawyer compact water purification device. What do you guys use? This one is the mini and fixes to a 20oz as well as having a straw. I like the look and feel of it. Haven't tested it as of yet but plan to soon

I just picked up a sawyer mini this week. All I had before this was iodine pills and a life straw. But like you said, the coolest part about the mini is that it connects to any Coke or water bottle.

Dirty water goes in the bottle. Clean water comes out the other end. It works with any bottle with that size lid. 20oz and lots of others.
It also comes with a small roll-up water pouch in case you don't have a bottle.

So, I haven't had a chance to really test it, but I was bored one night and tested it with tea. Tea went in, clean clear pure water came out. No tea flavor left in the water at all.

I tested a few of our sawyer
Minis and the results were good. I don't have the numbers but I was pleasantly surprised. I like the ability to back flush the filter as well

I've used the sawyer on the flint on my over night canoe trip. I've drink gallons of water from it and I've nor the people with me have never got sick
