I’m looking for ways to give some positivity back to my local communities after all the negativity over the past year and a half. Any good places to volunteer or any programs to assist at need individuals/families? I’d prefer something close to Villa Rica but I’d travel if I think I can do some good.

One easy way to give back which costs nothing and
seems to please the recepient is courteous driving.
Some may rather call it cooperative driving since
this is one area of our lives where cooperation should
replace competition. And term courteous may be offensive
to all the hard case brawlers that rather lean on the horn
and offer up the magic finger salute.
Often you'll see several cars in line waiting to make a left turn.
The oncoming lane is bumper to bumper which gives no chance
for those wishing to turn left. About every 3rd or fourth driver should
hold back a few car lengths to provide a space for one left turner
to get through. Think of it as kinda like the old dot dot dot dah from
WWII (. . . _ ) 3 cars and a space. Line isn't moving any slower just
leaving a gap for a lefty. Another is create the gap for an 18 wheeler
turning left or just waiting to pull out. Most of them even know a flash
of your lights means "here's your chance let it roll".
Here's one that likely counts as giving back, I hope so anyway.
You're on a two lane road with noone in front of you for 50-100yds.
In your mirror there are 5-20 cars nose to tail following you. Either
Speed UP or pull over and let them blow by. Hope this helps
