Electric vehicles are simply impractical for the majority of vehicle owners. It would hurt and cost me more to own one.

My brother in law has one. Took the family to Amelia Island in it. Thought the charge would make it. It didn't. He had to stop on the way and charge up. Ended up spending more money entertaining the wife and kids for the lengthy charge process than he would have on fuel. But, he doesn't have it because he thinks it's cool. Not completely. He's "doing his part". Vomit.

So….I know I am sort of slow….but - do you put a gas generator in the bed of the truck, run a power cable to the front and fill up the generator with gas and run it so you can drive down the road ?
Seems sorta screwed up , doesn’t it ?
