Weapon to survive

I think having a boot knife on you is a good weapon for self defense and to survive in any upsetting situation. what do you think?

If that's your only option for knife carry, sure. But in any defensive situation, you want weapons closest to your immediate grasp, I.e waist area.

I think you want to buy a boot knife and try carrying it for a while, so .... go ahead.

I've worn a boot knife off and on for years. It is a last ditch effort weapon, and/or a weapon I can carry almost anywhere when a gun may not be possible, or when the waistband may not be the most practical (workplace). Also when an ankle holster isn't ideal.

Interesting first post. Welcome to the ODT. I would rather have a boot knife as nothing but it sure wouldn't be my first choice.

something to hunt game with, if you think you are going to get in firefights and survive you are not going to last long...best to avoid trouble...
