I agree with most of that. My thing is that it's hot down here and I wear low top tennis shoes most of the time. I would like to have something like that around the shoe ankle but I don't see how it would work. Plus I wear cargo shorts almost everyday.
As I already mentioned there are absolutely no firearms allowed wear I work. So I think the neck knife/push knife is a bsbett option at least for me.

I’ve got the same problem, too dang hot and not enough clothing to cover what I‘d like to carry. Yea a knife would be better in areas where people are squeamish at the sight of a firearm. Unfortunately some nutjob that wants to do harm ain’t gonna care what we are wearing or if it’s a gun free zone and until the fine folks that come up with all the laws saying we can’t carry the proper tools to defend ourselves, whatever you can get away with is better than nothing.

It amazes me how many do not realize that knives are more dangerous than guns in more than one situation.
