Glad you did the right thing and tried it yourself. Haters are gonna hate but I bet at the end of the day they never shot one. I own a 9 and a 40 and they shoot fantastic. For the haters, ask yourself how long has S&W made Guns? Longer than Glock. Glad you like it. Enjoy.

Very true. I'm no match shooter but I can hit what I'm aiming at most times.

I also like the stainless slide.

I owned the 40 and its been a while, but I do remember that it was 100% reliable with any ammo I used. Nice bang for the buck.

Sorry, I'm not sure. I just got mine used in a trade deal. I do own one I the stainless/grey framed original 9F models waaaaaay back when. I bought it when Glocks were new and Smith was still considered a "better gun".

II sold it to a guy I did some work for after a few years. He loved it. Funny story... He was on a flight from Atlanta to Cali and opened his briefcase to get his book out and there it was, right on top. He kept the case in his lap the whole trip and sweated like Strider in church for 4 hours.

My old Sigma is still to this day the most comfortable gun I have ever held in my hands. I got rid of it and still sometimes wonder, for the price, why I did.
