I know other people have posted about the subject, but my God... it's a mad house out there. I went to THREE different gun stores today after work thinking I'd get some stress relief, but instead I saw lines of people grabbing left and right like hoarders, finger ****ing everything in sight. A ruger mini-14 with a folding stock for $1200, and it's the only thing left on the shelf. The bolt guns, black rifles, shotguns, and kinda long gun, all gone. If I sold everything I have with the asking prices I've seen, I could buy a new house and a new BMW. This **** is freaking me out.

Yea its pretty bad but I'm not too worried. I spoke with someone in the industry today and they were pretty certain that early next year things will start stabilizing. Its gonna be a little "extra" bad now because a lot of manufacturers are winding down for the holidays but I know they are still pumping out product. Its not like tomorrow theres gonna be a ban. The good part of this is everyone is already spending all their money on PMAGs and overpriced ARs that when things calm down you'll be able to walk in and get whatever you want without having to fight for it.

Hopefully so and prices won't be "too" inflated.

The shop I went to raised their prices slightly but I was told that they will be back to normal. You probably aren't going to want to buy one of these low tier "panic" ARs that was recently brought for $1300-$1500 since the owner is going to be looking to recoup their money.

Agreed!

I did see a PaP pistol yesterday for $599.00. Should have bought it, I wanted one to sbr anyways before this Great panic attack of '12.

Agreed, there will be no ban on anything for another year.
