Getting out on the lake tomorrow for the first time this season. Anything producing great results at the moment? Kayak fishing Clark lake in Acworth

I just about exclusively fish the storm wild eyed swim shad, anymore. Though I sometimes cast into trees, as Bear44 says, the water seems to produce many more fish.

I’m far from an expert. Last time I went out caught them with a mix of things. Granted I was on toona, so surprised I caught anything, but boated 5 spots. Caught 3 on a shakey head, green pumpkin seed, fluke with under spinner 1, and 1 top water on a shade color whopper plopper. First fish ever on top water.
