Can't bug out. Too much family to be concerned with. I ain't running off and leaving parents, in laws and grandkids. MIL is big into canning with plenty on the shelf. I can see everyone getting together in one place and pooling resources. Well armed of course.

Well it was an adams arms piston upper . Had to return it because its defective so for now id only grab the FN FS 2000. The 5.45 upper at this moment would get me killed.

Unlike many I do not plan on heading for the hills. We have a safe room with everything stocked. My wife is handicapped and will not make it... maybe a weeks mainly due to her high medication dependency. We have stocked pulled meds too but its tough with rare diseases. As far as what will l reach for is a1911A and my AR`s in multiple calibers... possibly a 12 gauge pump after SHTF it won't matter if I take a hacksaw to it.....

I with you on this.
My wife would not be able to bug out,so we will be bugging in.
But you better pray you can eat lead and survive if you come around here in a shtf situation.

Well, I would put on my tactical vest which is outfitted with 2 9mm's (1 glock and 1 S&W), 8 extra mags, 4 30rd mags for the AR15 which will be hung with the single point harness. The vest also has ballistic plates, a water bladder, and 2 belts of 12g shells for the shotgun over the shoulder. The wife's vest is outfitted with granola bars, water bottles, first aid kit, magnesium firestarter, compass, flashlight, hand crank radio and a couple extra packs of ammo. Not to mention, depending on the scenario, I have short term and long term bug-out bags ready to go. Seems like a lot but it's still maneuverable.
Now that the wife has had a baby, I'll have to re-think the whole plan. We may just be hanging out at home letting some friends and family bug-out here with us. I could always use extra fingers for all the triggers around here.
