What are you guys using on the armadillos?

My cousin tried that while on a Texas quail hunt. He said it was like kicking his truck...hurt his back and couldn't walk for two days. I don't recommend kicking an armadillo.

You just know the armadillos are bigger in Texas.

The best one I ever nailed was at night.

I chased that damn thing around for a while and his ass jumped in a hole.... he couldn't fit all the way in the hole.... A round of 00 helped him fit real nice.....

Depends on the number of them. May need a JDAM. But I've shot a few with crossbows, popped a few with 22's, and one with a 44 mag.

My recommendation, 44 magnum.

This is true, I've seen it.

We always keep a 5 gallon bucket handy around the camp fire and when you hear one, you take turns running out, slapping the bucket over him. jumping on and seeing who can stay on the longest. My personal best was about 30'. The later in the evening (more beer), the funner it gets and the rides usually get alot shorter.
