What are you reading these days?

Finished 1776 a few weeks ago. Very good historical read, not too dry. Trying to decide on my next.

His Sackett series is worth the read
That's what I hear. Cant' wait to start them.

I much prefer shorter books 150-300 pages.

I've had Lonesone Dove sitting on my shelf for a year because most book sites say "if you're going to read only 1 Western book it should be Lonesome Dove" but the 860 page length has made me continue to put it off until I read some shorter books I already have on the shelf.

Lonesome Dove is one of the best American novels ever written. I bet you will read it faster than you think.

I finished this read earlier this year and then me and the wife did a trip on Presidents Day weekend up to Yorktown, Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg. I'm so glad to have read this before visiting America's Historic Triangle.
