What can you do with old catalytic converters?

I have 3 or 4 cats that I have replaced (not hacked off a neighbors car!) over the years. Can these be recycled or sold for scrap or is it a big hassle nowadays? Any of you copper thief’s know the answer?

No idea. Here is a site that says there is generally 3 to 7 grams of platinum in a converter. Best call a local recycler and see what they pay.
