What did you do to better your prep today?

Well, I didni't do it today, but last week WalMart broke out Libby's canned vegetables for $.50/can and I bought 8 cases(96 cans). Green beans, peas, and whole kernel corn. Nice to get it still wrapped to the flats. Stacks nicer that way. Also dumped and refilled eight 7 gallon Aquatainers. Really want to get 3-4 50 gallon food grade drums to store water in. Also took one ammo can and made a BoC(Bug out Can) with a basic loadout of every pertinent caliber, so I can throw it in the truck with the BoB and be gone without having to think about it.

I tilled three separate garden locations, and amended the soil. Poppin seeds, sproutin them lil buggers under a new grow light.

Food & water. Shelter and protection. What else is there?..... well, besides a hot b**ch, that loves to cook, sexier than a Ruger GP100 in 6" SS, that loves you as much as you love her and will put up with you.

Prepping is only a good idea if you rotate your stock. Keep and store what you need for a minimum of 6 months, but use the older stock that overlaps. Go on a camping trip and enjoy the time you have.

What? With all respect, due or not.... prepping is ALWAYS a good idea. This is one situation where I will use the word ALWAYS, and stand by it.

Especially when WHAT you invest in, has a minimum shelf life of 20 years. Rounds are still being used that are from the 60's (that's 63 years) and earlier. Thermarests and ECWS down bags will never go bad unless they aren't taken care of. Berkey filtration will last a lifetime if you are PREPPED with extra sealed filters that will never go bad. Does toilette paper need to be rotated, if properly stored? Solar chargers and rechargeable flashlights, are not a good idea to have unless I rotate them???? Brotherman... Your free to do as you please but seriously think about the words you use as advice...

I don't think the title of the thread is "Give us your opinion on whether or not you think it is a good idea to prep, and your feelings surrounding it" it is "What DID YOU DO to better your prepp TODAY.

But seriously, thank you for your opinion on how you feel about others prepping.

You are queer bait. Learn to read comprehensively, go "feel" yourself. Abhor logic, embrace paranoia, you will feel much more comfortable there.
