I infiltrated my surrounding neighbors houses to itemize the supplies they keep on hand for when the SHTF.

I subscribe to Obama's Survival Plan, which literally translates into taking the stuff that others worked hard for.

That got a chuckle out of me...then a head scratch.
I don't know weather to laugh, stop letting people come over or just make sure I have enough lyme on hand.

He'll ya it counts. IMHO marksmanship will be one of the most valuable assets right after water and food.

I got two large trunks like foot lockers with wheels on one end, an extendable handle and built in lock with keys. STANLEY makes them, available at HomeyD's for $59. Very un-assuming, looks like a work box not a military crate that draws attention. A little pricey but I have ben researching something like it and they were the best bet. Perfect go boxes ready to put in the truck. If you have to abandon your vehicle, or if it is toast from an EMP it is possible to roll one behind you very easily. I hate the thought of just abandoning a bunch of gear.

I like that. I have a rolling tote in the back of the avalanche with my camping gear just in case. Yours is much more secure and has the nice handle. I think I'm going to invest in one.

I had a new well dug down at my place...I also ordered an additional hand pump to go with my electric pump...this is something new! In event of no electicity and limited fuel supplies, you can use the hand pump...you can also get a 12 volt motor to go with it...that can be ran by a 12 volt deep cycle battery which could be charged with solar panel. I should have this up and running here in a week or so. I'll be posting a story on this along with pics on here soon!
