What did you do today related to deer hunting

Well, I took a NAP this afternoon.
Dreamed it was a COOL morning in the woods.
Fog was lifting, Sun was coming up, Birds were starting to sing. Squirrels scurrying about.
The PERFECT morning in the woods. What could be Better.
And then this MONSTER buck stepped out into my food plot.
I raised my trusty deer rifle, TATER. Took aim, and WHAMMMM!!!

The BOSS walked into my office and SLAMMED the Door!!

Food plots planted at camp. Brought home the cultipacker to plant plots at home tomorrow. Hung a new camera and got a tripod put up on the back side of our lease. Dubbed it Twisted Oak. Started cutting shooting lanes. Been listening to Chasing Giant Whitetails and Deer University podcast for days now...

Top sowed annual rye grass in 4 shooting lanes in the swamp.cant get a tractor to them.hoping for some rain this weekend.we will start planting big plots next week.

Sowing my plots this morning, gonna be using Coker oats, wheat, and a mix of buck forage oats, rye, and crimson clover. Then finishing off with some red top turnips. Praying it will get a decent watering this weekend. Also noticing some white oak acorns starting to fall around the shooting house. Should be plenty for them to eat if things cooperate in the next few weeks.........
