I don't know what to call it yet, but I do know why I built it.
Everything I have built, up to this point, has aluminum, this and that, and it's kind of like buying a new car. I am afraid to get a scratch on it. I built this "Crespin" specifically as an M4 size AR that I can drop (repeatedly) and not worry about the oops! None of the parts are high-dollar items, so, if it hits the ground I just pick it up, dust it off, and keep on with it! A lot of it is plastic so it will mostly just bounce instead of bend.

Although this is my 4th build I will refer to it as plastic #1.
I think I just might call it the "MidMoe". Although, after a quick google, I found that Adams Arms is offering a 16" Mid MOE Rifle -NY Compliant model. But midmoe sounds good to me.
One thing that I really like about this AR is that, since I was able to scavenge left over parts from my previous builds (as a novice builder), I was able to keep this AR at apx. $456 (including shipping fees).

90 rounds through the pipe just to check it out, and had no malfunctions. Thank the Lord I put this thing together right!
