What do you eat for lunch.

my son and DIL, cook like hell on the weekend to prepare lunches for their work week. He does construction and she is a med tech at a hospital. He bags several deer per season and that is their main red meat.
Yep, did it for decades. Kept a half freezer full of venison. I challenged myself to do so. Wasn't something I had to do. Just wanted to live closer to how our ancestors did

Lunch tomorrow. Shrimp/broc/rice

I take 3 apples (honey crisps), couple of bananas, and a bottle of water to work. I do have some peanut type snacks in a drawer. Work 12 hr shifts and never had my lunch stolen. I figure if I don't go out for lunch; then that is a chunk towards whatever I want to buy off here. When I show the young guys the math, they are always surprised.
Honey crisps… THE BEST!!!

I usually fix a salad at home for lunch, today I had to go to Athens and hit 3 places and be in Gainesville by lunch to drop a trade so I stopped at a Arbies and grabbed a fish sandwich to eat on road. Wife made a homemade Lasagna for supper and just woke up and ate two rolaides for dessert due to acid reflux from tomato sauce.
