What do you guys think about dry lube? Anyone ever use it for firearms?

I got some Bux Dri-Slide back in the day when it was highly recommended to cure the ills of the M16. I was never impressed with it. Breakfree CLP works far better.

None of my mags need any form of lube, so can't comment on that use.

Just the basic physics of how lubes are supposed to work (which is very simple and have been known for over a century) I would take a pass. A true lube is the way to go so that it pulls grit and contaminates away from bearing surfaces. Dry lubes work great on a pinewood derby car, but are not a good choice on firearms.
