I think it's their business, and they should be able to conduct it the way they choose.

Some LGS will only accept shipments from other FFL because they don't want to take the risk of someone shipping them a hot item. Their business, they can run it the way they choose. If they made a bad choice, the market will let them know.

I totally agree, they should be able to conduct business how they see fit. I was just curious what people thought about their stance on the matter

Why mess with Bushmaster and Stag when you can get equal or better for less elsewhere? Their line of business is complete rifles and they're not set up to sell individual parts in a way that is largely profitable.

That makes a lot of sense I didn't even consider that

So I had emailed Bushmaster just for my own curiosity, they said it was an error and when they update the catalog they will correct it.

I had that problem once with a seller on gunbroker.com. I bought a several AR lower parts kits (single action ar-15) and the seller would only ship to an FFL.

I had them shipped to the same FFL I dealt with when I purchased a stack of stripped lowers. The FFL was great, he refused to even let me buy him lunch when they saw what had been shipped.

He's a good guy, I left $10 on the counter anyways.

Yeah thats ridiculous, if I can avoid dealing with people like that I will.

Yea, that's pretty stupid. It's perfectly legal for them to do so. I don't really care for either company anyways. Much better companies and products out there. I'd move on.
