What gives with these auto alerts?

I've been getting auto alerts telling me "your item is marked as gone" for stuff I marked as gone already, one I got two or three times for the same thing that was gone a couple of months ago I think. I just got another one for an item I marked as gone Aug. 22nd. It's getting old real fast, I'm trying to sell stuff and these things are annoying because I keep thinking I just got a PM on a for sale ad. What gives yall? Stop it, damn! Lol

I've had to bite my tongue quite a few times over the years to avoid receiving that hat, and I actually like hats. Lol!
